I don't mind him at all. He is reliable when healthy , but if he gets injured it will be like we never signed him. It's only one year

Another option is #isles watching waiver wire carefully for another depth dman to shore things up since might be a lot of activity

Like Radek actually...doesn't really hurt us at all. we have plenty of room and it would appear that won't be changing....is there no other team Garth can call and do something creative. If a real GM had this team with the assets we have they would be wheeling and dealing like crazy. And no didn't say sell the farm either but between the NHL club, AHL and prostpects you can combine a few together and land a decent guy to play on the 2nd line!!! Don't wait unitl 2015 Garth

With all the prosepects, picks and Cap space and the Isles cannot do better than this? Charles and Garth are really going to milk not having to do anything before the move to Brooklyn.

I couldn't imagine what they would want for Benn or Subban.

Chicago would be a good trade partner.

There should be a couple of teams like Buffalo or the Flames that have extra dmen the Isles can make a deal with. I'm not looking for an all-Star but someone better than Radek would be nice. The second the move to Brooklyn went public should have gotten the Isles out of this minor league mindset. You need to start now showing you are serious not when you get to Brooklyn.

True but I think you need to start showing something before Brooklyn. No way do I expect Charles to push the payroll near the top of the league before Brooklyn but try to bring in some good talent now. I just hate to think and see the Isles are writing off this year.

Right if the Isles will be making moves this offseason like some think it maybe easier if they start now and show future UFA's they are serious. You want to use the good feelings about Brooklyn now before you get there. You do not want to show in Brooklyn with all the same holes and problems.
